Since today was a short 3 miles, I decided to go for a PR a week before the marathon. Sure enough, I got a side stitch at the 1.5 mile mark. I tried running through but the pain got worse and I thought it was best to avoid an injury this close to event day.

Not the best day of my life but this is better than not running at all.
